Each term we deliver teaching and learning in all National Curriculum subjects discretely and in a connected way under the umbrella of particular topics. We share the subject headlines of the topics at the start of the term to enable parents/carers to complement learning at home.
All learning in YR is connected remotely between school and home with our Rusper Primary 'Tapestry' page. All families are assigned a login upon entry into our school. On Tapestry, Mrs Rodgers and Mrs Jones set learning challenges and communicate with parents and pupils. Parents are encouraged to share their child's learning experiences and achievements at home via Tapestry in the form of photos, videos and comments. Thus a learning partnership is encouraged which helps to accelerate child development towards the Early Learning Goals. (see EYFS in the curriculum section)Teams platform.
In Years 1-6, all learning is connected remotely between school and home with our Rusper Primary Microsoft Teams platform. Each child is given a login and assigned to a class team. Homework is set submitted weekly via the class Teams through photo and document upload.
If you have any questions about the topic your child is focusing on, or how you can help with their learning at home, please speak to your child's teacher.
